Post by Cory045 » Sun Jan 08, 2012 7:43 pm

I got a 159 on the lsat with and have a 3.88gpa. I am considering pitt, penn state, and others. I wish to stay in the northeast/ mid atlantic regions. Any advice on law schools I should consider/apply to?

LSAC GPA? Either way, study hard, take a few months off, retake LSAT, take your GPA and get into a better school.

Then spend some time and retake. You have around or better GPA of almost every school outside of HYS. A 7 pt increase, which isn't difficult, will set you up for a better situation, and scholie money comes next cycle. You could make 150k by sitting out a few months, putting your nose to the grindstone, and getting a 170+ on June, and ED in 12-13 cycle. Let alone the better job prospects you will have.

Look around this site a little bit and you'll realize that retaking is your best bet
