Application activities and awards

Post by sportsstar5 » Sat Jan 07, 2012 2:05 am

One or more applications asks to list awards and recognitions I received and reasons why which awards were made. This is in addition to a resume.

Should I put the same awards that are on my resume? What would I put for a reason why receiving an award (something like having a high gpa and good character standing)?

Thanks!

Anyone know anything about this? Really not sure what to do. Thanks so much.

Yes. Rule # 1 is do what the application says.

I would imagine something like "John Denver memorial scholar award -- awarded in recognition of completing four semesters with a rocky mountain high GPA " would suffice.

Also, omit the star you got for making the AB honor roll in 6th grade.
