Can I apply before LSAC has processed my transcript?

Post by roba » Thu Jan 05, 2012 11:33 am

I searched but couldn't find a similar topic. I just got my Dec LSAT so I want to send my applications away and be done, but my University is sending my transcript to LSAC tomorrow. I know it takes a while to process, so I was wondering if I can go ahead and apply to schools before LSAC processes my transcript. Once they do process it will they automatically send it and attach it somehow to my application, or should I just sit tight for the next couple of weeks? Thanks!

I'm not sure that LSAC will let you submit apps before your transcript is processed, but if they will then go for it. LSAC will update your apps once they've received your transcript and it could save you a bit of processing time at each school.
