So I wanted to give schools that I applied to in the fall that have not reached their decision yet my updated GPA with grades that I just received for this past semester. How do I go about doing that? Do I have to go through LSAC like the original application, or can I just get my home institution to send a new transcript out?
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

You go through LSAC. Print off a cover letter from LSAC's website much like the one you did to send in your original transcripts. Just give that to your registrar's office and you should be good.

Ok thanks!
Also, do you know if any schools do not want you to do this?

Updating your grades via LSAC isn't required by any schools that I know of, but if your GPA improved there is a good chance that could help you get off a waitlist or help with schools that haven't made a decision on your application. If you are applying while you are in your senior year most schools just need a copy of your final transcript sent to the law school directly.clarawater wrote:Ok thanks!
