Does asking for a fee waiver hurt your chances at admission?
Hello all,
Does directly asking a school for a fee waiver hurt your chances at admission? I've already spent around $700 on application fees, but still want to apply to more schools, as I can see myself attending these other schools, and have done quite a bit of research on them (so I'm not just shooting random apps). Question is, if I ask the schools for a waiver, will they think I don't care enough about the school to pay the full price of application fees, and have this affect my chances at admission??
Any input would be appreciated..

No. Go forth and waive fees. Also, go forth and chill.

Then I said I would only apply if I got a FW (in a much, much nicer way, of course) and they finally gave me one. And I just got inso it affects admission in no way.

ekbrown, did you get any form of non-repayable financial assistance?
