senior year first semester GPA
So I will probably get 2.9 this semester(tough major, too many credits, LSAT, application...). Do I have to send it to LSAC?! My current LSAC GPA is 3.56.

So long as you've applied before those grades were released, I do not think so.
I'm in a similar boat and sure as hell don't plan on sending them. lol. My only worry is if I get waitlisted I won't have any upward trend or progress to show the school.

Some schools might as for it. For example, Duke asked for my fall grades via PT.
For me, this one professor still hasn't submitted my final grade even though the exam was 2 weeks ago and I'm supposed to graduate too...Arghhhh!!!!

Mine went down, too. No one has asked for my grades, yet. Def. not sending it into LSAC without being asked.

Re: senior year first semester GPA
I'm not applying until next year, but I almost had the same GPA this semester because one of my professors almost sent a "D" instead of an "A" because of a typo in the computer grading system (I got 90% out of 400 on a paper, but it was entered as 90/400). I almost had a heart attack.hllh wrote:So I will probably get 2.9 this semester(tough major, too many credits, LSAT, application...). Do I have to send it to LSAC?! My current LSAC GPA is 3.56.

So, let's say, for example, you got a 4.0 this semester. It would be wise to send an updated transcript to LSAC, no?
And the process with that is more or less the same as when you sent the original transcript in?
