Re: Timeline
Let me clarify why I'm asking:
I'm going to be out of the country with absolutely no phone or internet access for pretty much the entire month of January. I'm terrified of missing a call during this time period. Do you think its at all possible that I would be getting acceptances as early as January having submitted in early December?

Re: Timeline
Very few schools only send a decision via phone call. Having said that, I doubt you will hear back by January. I had my apps in once I got my Oct LSAT score and didn't get my earliest response until February.

If you miss the phone call, then they'll notify you in some other way, email probably. I was out of the country when my acceptance call came, I never got it, but certainly got the acceptance email.viacavour wrote:Let me clarify why I'm asking:

Also, as a gauge on the particular schools to which you have applied I suggest checking out http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com. You can view self-reported admissions data from past cycles and view when early responses came out (i.e. before/after Christmas) and if those early responses were for candidates who have similar numbers and applied at the same time you did.

I've you haven't heard back yet, next year. I've heard back from 9 out of 10, but I applied at the beginning of the cycle.
FYI. If you miss a phone call, its no big deal. They are not going to reject you because you didn't answer the phone. If you are going to be gone in Jan. some of your admissions will be waiting for you when you get back. Either in email or regular mil
