In the student indebtedness section I am asked:

1. Please list all of your outstanding educational loans.

List amount, type, lender name, and total amount:

Ok, so what is the difference between "amount" and "total amount" here? Sorry if this is a stupid question and thanks in advance for any replies.

Amount of each loan, total amount of all loans?
