Reapplying to a school that granted you admission
I am reapplying to a school that granted me admission last year. When I applied last year the school required only a personal statement and now require a statement of why you want to attend their school--a personal statement is now optional. I was planning on using my personal statement from last year again, however it seemed more appropriate to use the old personal statement for the statement of why I want to attend the school. My question is now that I am going to write an entire new personal statement what should I say? TBH, I turned down their admission offer because I wanted to take the LSAT again and trying to get into a better school. I am applying to this school as one of my fall backs and can't really tell them that was the reason I didn't matriculate this year.

Just realized that I should have posted this in the Personal Statement section. Feel free to move it, sorry.
