Some schools have the following section in the application:
List your extracurricular, community, or other activities in the order of their importance to you. Give a brief description of your involvement, including any special responsibilities or leadership positions held.
Should you list only the current involvement? If not, how far back would you go? How much description would you provide?
I am not sure why schools ask this even though they also ask for your resume.

Re: Extracurricular activity question in the application
Should you list only the current involvement? No
If not, how far back would you go? Similar to resume... depends but usually 4-5 years (post highschool at a minimum)
How much description would you provide? Depends on space, one line max
I am not sure why schools ask this even though they also ask for your resume. Because they can.
