Late change of strategy for my cycle?
Soooo... 167, 3.44 and I applied to a lot of schools in my range (check my profile / has link to my LSN), and took my "reach" chance on Texas. Looking at the texas thread, texas is now rejecting people with numbers that other t14 would take. Should I take some shot at another t14 school now, and if so which one would users recommend?

Any reason why you are applying to BU and not BC/Fordham? I think you'd stand a better shot since you're above median LSAT.ThreeRivers wrote:Soooo... 167, 3.44 and I applied to a lot of schools in my range (check my profile / has link to my LSN), and took my "reach" chance on Texas. As far as t14, Cornell or Gulc part time are your two chances, though neither is likely. Unfortunately your gpa will likely get you dinged from these two as well.
Your school list seemed complete aside from that. Good luck!

Probably have seen me bitching about this, but I can shoot myself for gettign a 0.00 in my freshman year... if it wasn't for that I'd have a 3.9+ with probably decent t14 chances
Not really interested in moving and such then doing part time, and meh at this point I'd probably go to Wash & Lee (already accepted) than 2 you listed so probably not going to throw in those apps. I was thinking with Texas I'd have about a 33% chance, after reading about 172 3.5 rejections I realized its just a matter of time until I get mine , was wondering if others though I'd have some chance at another reach (probably won't though lol)

Yeah it's unlikely but worth a shot. Send Cornell and Georgetown an app and see what happens.ThreeRivers wrote:Probably have seen me bitching about this, but I can shoot myself for gettign a 0.00 in my freshman year... if it wasn't for that I'd have a 3.9+ with probably decent t14 chances

Otherwise, i think your looking in the T20-T35 range, with money at a number of places. Personally, i think you should look at UGA, since your interested in UT.
