Georgetown Part-time

Post by moonman157 » Mon Nov 14, 2011 11:13 pm

I am a current 3rd year, looking to take the LSAT in February. Still taking a practice course right now, but at the moment I'm scoring in the mid-160s. I am hoping to bump up my score to a 170, but I can't guarantee that I can get there (I'm going to try my best though!). It is a dream of mine to attend a T-14 School. I have a decent GPA (3.73), but I'm worried that my LSAT score may prevent me from gaining admission (again, this is a bit premature). I have been looking into Georgetown extensively, and wondered what people thought of the idea of applying to Georgetown's part-time program, and then switching into its full time program after the first year. Would I still have the advantages of other Georgetown students as far as career prospects and opportunities? Thanks for all the help.

Use the search function, this question has been asked before: http://www.top-law-schools.com/search-f ... x=0&sa.y=0

1) It may not be easier to get into the PT program since USNWR has changed how they view these programs: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 7#p4722293
2) Wait until you get a real LSAT score
