Doesn't matter. LSDAS GPA is all that matters.

Re: Major GPA
I put this on my resume.
It probably won't matter, but at top schools, might be a marginal consideration and may some have effect on how you're perceived as a whole (this can either be good or bad).

This. It'll probably have some subtle subconscious effect on them, but don't count on it changing anything drastic as your LSDAS GPA is everything.Curious1 wrote:I put this on my resume.

Re: Major GPA
This will have no effect. If anything, it draws attention to the fact your grades were lower in the general sorts of classes that relate to law school. The whole reason they normalize GPAs is to counter for the disparity between schools and majors and put everyone on an arbitrary but equal playing field. It's called administratability, you'll learn about it in LS. Because there is no good way to weigh this, they don't weigh it at all.thelawyler wrote:This. Re: Major GPA
it shows your grades were lower in classes you were not interested in and were required to take. There are a lot of classes in law school you won't be interested in and many you will be required to take that you won't be interested in. Should be fun.
