Silly question. How do you know...

Silly/Stupid question, I'm sure. But.. how do you know when you accepted/rejected/wait listed? Does it show up on LSAC? Email? Mail? All of the above?

Different schools inform you differently. Status checker, email, regular mail, and phone call are the standards (phone calls for acceptances, the rest for anything).

Most schools will provide you with an online "status checker" after you submit your application. Otherwise, by e-mail, snail mail, or phone call, depending on the school. Good luck!
