Am I wasting my time checking statuses on the weekend? Forum

Like most of use, I'm a neurotic status checker. I try to limit myself to once in the morning and once in the evening, so I don't get too crazy. Do any of the admissions office do anything over the weekend? It would be nice to know that I can take a two day break and not miss anything.

I sent a correspondence to Boalt on a Saturday afternoon and got a real response (not an auto mailer) back with a few hours. So,depending on the school, maybe they are there. Doubtful they make meaningful decisions though.

Not that I know exactly what's going on but I get updates on the weekends. Applications being received etc.
