Is there any way this could work against you?
I know writing one for HYS is useless, but what about Columbia?

I believe the consensus is that for a place like Columbia, it is either neutral (it's Columbia so they know why you want to go there), or could work against you (i.e. poorly written/thought out).

I think that T6 is inappropriate. MVP seem to enjoy them, but above that the schools seem to take for granted that of course you want to go there.
