general accepted students weekend question

Post by Schola » Wed Nov 02, 2011 5:25 pm

This is probably going to make me sound naive, but I'm wondering if any law schools every organize and pay for your travel and accommodations when you visit campus for accepted students' weekend the way Ph.D. programs do? I suspect the answer is no...

It varies. I don't think it's to the extent that you get things paid for like with Phd programs. Some law schools I visited gave nothing, some reimbursed $150 for travel costs (I had to send in receipts, etc), and one offered $300 travel costs plus free hotel room. If they have something set up, they'll let you know. If not you could always ask the admissions office.
