wow, that sucks. i would say if that experience helped you on your way to wanting to become a lawyer or helped you mature, etc, you should go PS with this. if it is only a reason for poor grades, you should go addend with it.

Yeah, I think I'm going to stick with just making it an addendum. It just sounds so intense, and I hate that.

If it wasnt intense, you prolly wouldnt want to write an addendum. This is a good reason to though. Write it.

Not to trivialize but I gotta believe that at the end of the day, adcomm's are just people, and your story is if nothing else a good read and a nice abberation from everyone writing about their experiences on the mock trial team. Personally, your story is probably the longest post I've ever actually read because it kept my interest.
