I don't really have anything extraordinary to say. If I were to write one, it would more or less be a generic "Penn ranks well, Good Job Placement, etc..." I felt that if I don't really have anything special to say, might as well not do one.Tiago Splitter wrote:No reason not to.

I don't really think a Why essay is necessary if you are ED'ing. You are entering a binding agreement to attend, it is the ultimate sign of devotion to a school. As for not having anything spectacular to say: don't give them anything to read that doesn't add to your application.
Or maybe an ED+Why Essay+Ear in the mail will be enough to avoid a WL, who knows
