Vanderbilt Interview
They state that it is optional, and I don't really feel like doing one. Would it hurt my chances, or is it just a waste of time? 3.77/171

If your wanting to go to Vanderbilt, I would say do it...it can't harm you for scholarship purposes.

I had the same question -- do you guys think I should do one with my numbers 3.4/169?? How much of a boost do I get?

I've also been wondering about this. I'm not worried about admission (174/3.81), but will I miss out on scholarship money if I don't do an interview?

The husband didn't do an interview, applied late-ish (in January) and got $$. 169, 3.77, 84K.

I say do it. Be yourself and be polite. It does say strongly encouraged on their app instructions. I did it yesterday with this really nice girl and it went great. I say girl because she is my age (relatively young). Is that unPC of me?

I did it. Pretty laid back, just talked about the school and how he was able to get into the market. Told me not to go to a school unless I get a scholly because the local market is shit. Pretty cool dude.
