Recommendation letter

Post by rachelwang712 » Wed Oct 26, 2011 11:05 pm

Hi, i need help here. My major in undergrad is communication. I want to ask one of my professors for recommendation. But he only taught me two courses on communication. Does it matter if he only talks about my preformance on communication which is irrelevant to any law stuff?

I was also undergrad communication.

I asked one of my comm professors to write me a general statement. He didn't specifically mention my performance in his comm classes, only how I was a standout student (blah blah blah).

I decided that I would also like someone with a little more of a "law" perspective & asked one of my poli sci profs to write me one as well. (I was a poli sci minor).

As long as it's a strong LOR, it shouldn't really matter who it comes from. If they can attest to your strength as a student, then that should be good enough.

You just need to make sure the prof knows you well. The ones that know you best will give the best recs. Has 2 classes been enough for them to get to know you sufficiently?
