I think it's worth it. If there's one thing that stands out (special programs, etc.), write about that. There no need to also write about clinics, courses, etc. that most other law schools also have (maybe not by the same names) just to fill up one page. Penn isn't drastically different from Michigan. UVa isn't that different from Duke.

"Why X" essays should be longer than 250, but less than 500, generally speaking. Of course, this is not considered some outright required lengths like, say, the Yale 250.
