i realized on the personal statement for one of the apps i submitted (berkeley), i mention my undergrad and then refer to the undergrad by its initials (e.g. Ohio State University, OSU) without denoting this acronym in parenthesis first.
is this a big deal? i realize i sound neurotic, but berkeley is one of my number one choices. will it matter? should i try to resend the personal statement with the parenthetical in place??

A Pac-10 (fine, Pac-12) adcomm might read that as Oregon State. 
I don't think it will kill you as-is, but if it makes you feel better, submit an edited PS. I'm sure they get requests to replace documents for dumber reasons.
