Addendum for 3 point LSAT boost? 165-168 Forum

I just found out I raised my LSAT score to a 168 from my first score of a 165. Should I even bother writing an addendum explaining my score increase since it was only a 3 point jump? I've heard only to do it if it is a 5 point increase, but I just wanted to make sure. If it helps at all, I don't really want to write an addendum because the only honest excuse I have for my lower score is that I didn't study hard enough the first time. I'm trying to get all of my apps out this week so any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

I didn't bother for a 6 point boost, mostly because of the same reason (I had nothing good to say about it other than how well I studied).
