Open Container Citation

Post by Imezing » Fri Oct 21, 2011 6:44 pm

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had any insight or personal experience with having an open container citation on your record and whether I would have to admit that on my application. I tried calling a couple admission offices today and unfortunately they were closed by the time I called.

Thanks

Some apps will ask about any convictions, fines, citations, violations, tickets, and every time your mother spanked you. Some will basically only want to know about felonies. Most fall somewhere in between. Read the question carefully, answer it if it applies to your citation, and you will be fine.

Tulane literally has a convicted murderer in the 1L class this year. Your open container will not hurt you unless you hide it.

Always declare and you are fine. One open container isn't going to matter one iota.
