Optimal number of LOR?
I don't want to overwhelm schools with recommendations if it will hurt me, so I was wondering if there is a consensus about the optimal number of LOR that should be sent to T1 schools. At the moment, I have four potential letters: three stronger and a fourth option from a professor I don't know as well, but who can speak to a different set of skills I have.

From what I've gathered speaking with a few adcommns, 3 is optimal. If you have a strong fourth, keep it for a possible LOCI.
