No optional addendum on Vandy's app?

Post by ignatiusr » Sat Oct 08, 2011 2:46 pm

I'm sure someone's addressed this before, but I can't find it in the archives. Vanderbilt's app contains no link to include an addendum. The only links are resume, PS, C&F, and Diversity. I must include an addendum explaining several withdrawals on my transcript, but I'm not sure how to do it. I could always just attach this addendum to the diversity link, but I don't know if this would be seen as failing to follow directions.

Email the admissions office and ask.

You can either attach it to your PS or upload it through the diversity link (this is what I did). The school just gets a pdf with all the documents, they won't know how you went about it.

In general, if you have a question like this it's a good idea to talk to admissions and see what they see for two reasons:

(1) You get a clear answer for your specific question! No uncertainty! Yay!

(2) You establish a connection with the office. Assuming you're not calling once a day, or probably even once a week, this is a good thing! Connections good!

I'd also like to know the answer, if they get back to you!
