Applications: Date your address is good until:

Post by Kess » Mon Oct 03, 2011 8:05 pm

I understand that they ask this because people are at dorms and things like that, but what do I put if I am just putting my home address? It's good (as far as I know) until further notice.

Or am I totally misinterpreting this question?

I put some random date like 20 years in the future.

On a side note, does anyone have any experience splitting their mail? I'll be at school until mid-December when I graduate and I want to get my mail there. I just want to make sure that none will get lost in the changing-address process.

For my home address I put until next August because I will most likely be about to leave for law school not close to home and I don't want important mail going there, but if you think you'll be nearby and can easily get mail that goes to your home address just pick a date like a few years from now.

I put 2015.... because I want to stay in the tri-state NY area until I finish law school. Anyway, thanks for confirming that there is no "scientific way" of doing this. lol
