Still waiting on one letter of recommendation... apply Forum

Hey still waiting on one professor to mail a letter of recommendation, but otherwise my file is complete. If I go ahead and apply to schools, will LSAC just send my file when everything is in? Whats the best course of action right now?

I'm in the same boat. Mine claimed he was going to finish it last Sunday, so I'm not sure whether I should wait or go ahead.

Yeah mine said he'd have mine in the next week or so... not a big deal in the grand scheme, but it would be nice to be able to do something with my spare time...

Also, schools that dont require any LORs or only one... should I go ahead and apply with the one LOR I have (its a good one...) or wait till both are in??

I have 3 letters total, so I'm going to submit mine tomorrow when I get paid, whether the third one is in or not.

Same question. I'd like to beat the oct lsat takers and submit now with only one to the schools that only want one. Or should I wait? The writer keeps pushing back when she'll finish it.

I posted this on another thread, but here goes.

Email the specific school. Some will allow you to turn in an application, even if LORs or an LSAT score is pending. Just ask them and let them know the circumstances.

One school I'm applying to, however, said that I should not do that for their application. They told me to wait until December when the December LSAT score is in and ALL letters are in.

I'm in this situation too. I'd like to apply today/tomorrow rather than wait an extra week (letter should be mailed by Sunday/Monday), but I guess I have to wait?
