hey guys on the apps i have to say whether im opting to be nominated for this.. but it said i gotta do all this other stuff (send letter , etc.)

what is this like? what are the general requirements to get into this?
wiill i be eligible for other scholarships without this?

Not sure of the answer to the other questions but the answer to this one is yes, you are still eligible for other scholarships.

im 168/3.6 and no substantial volunteer experience ( compared to folks who do have a good amount)

I had a 3.3, 167 and got 14K a year. You'll get significant money from them.
