How hard is it to make a 155 through 160 on the LSAT?
A 155-160 is my primary score goal, how hard is it? I already have the Powerscore books and the 10 actualt prep test, is this enough? Thank you!

For some people, it's ridiculously easy and they could pull a 165 falling-down drunk. For some people, a 155 is still impossible after a year of studying. For most people, it's somewhere in between.
Take the sample test available on LSAC.org under timed conditions as a cold diagnostic and that will give you an idea of where you are starting and how much you need to improve.
And no, you're going to need way more than just 10 preptests. Get all of them.

Anywhere from incredibly easy to completely impossible depending on the person's intelligence and how badly they suck at studying.

lolno, the correct answer is again "it depends on the person."stuffnuff wrote:+1rinkrat19 wrote:And no, you're going to need way more than just 10 preptests. Get all of them.

It may depend, but I suspect the number of people for which 10 PTs would be sufficient is pretty miniscule.Bildungsroman wrote:lolno, the correct answer is again "it depends on the person."stuffnuff wrote:+1rinkrat19 wrote:And no, you're going to need way more than just 10 preptests. Haha...yes...it does depend on the person, like how smart they are and how studious they are.
I started off with a 138, and after 3 months of studying, I was able to get a 159 on my most recent practice test (I've only take a few PTs though...like only 4).
I know someone else who has been studying for 2 years and took both Blue Print and TestMasters, but can't even break a 150. At the same time, he doesn't really use the methods that TM or BP taught him and continues to try and do things "his" way.
