$$$ and applying early
With regards to Hamilton, Rubenstein, and other scholarships, are you less likely to receive one if you apply 11/1 vs. 9/17?

With regards to money, the earlier the better because they have more of it. 11/1 isn't terrible, but if you can, apply earlier. All that said, if you're taking the October LSAT and feel like you will be scoring higher than you previously did, you have no choice but to wait it out.

I'm rather skeptical that either CLS or Chicago have given out much, if any, of their scholarship pools by 11/1. If anything they need to wait for the October LSATs to gauge the general strength of their overall applicant pool. People get too worked up about submitting their apps the second they're available. Just do whatever makes your application stronger (meaning makes your LSAT score higher).BigBlueLaw wrote:With regards to money, the earlier the better because they have more of it. 11/1 isn't terrible, but if you can, apply earlier. This. Chicago, for example, didn't give out their first batch of acceptances until January 10 last cycle. Scholarship information came out a month later.ahduth wrote:I'm rather skeptical that either CLS or Chicago have given out much, if any, of their scholarship pools by 11/1.
