How soon should we submit applications? Forum

How soon should applications be submitted in order to still be competitive? Also, when I tried to submit an application that I've completed, the submit button is gray on the LSAC website, and won't let me submit my application. Do law schools not want to receive applications until after a certain date?

Before the October test results come in is ideal, definitely not later than thanksgiving though.

Preview the app first, then the submit button will become active. Some schools won't accept them until October 1st, but most will accept them now.

You have to preview the PDF version of the application before you can submit.

Thanks! For some reason it wasn't working last night, but today when I previewed the application I was able to submit.
