if u ED (or RD) how do the schools let you know of their decision? do they e-mail it to you? some school's status checker, such as UVA's, seems blank, so im just wondering.

Waitlists and rejections almost always come via email. Acceptances might come via phone call (UVA/Penn/HLS), email (Cornell), or access to admitted students' site/status checker. (Michigan/GULC)
