Hey guys,
I am applying, and I read that theres a site where it lets us know whether the application is complete, whether the residency has been established, whether we've been accepted or not. but i dont see anything like this. only thing i see is the LSAC report being completed.
anyone know? thanks!
** just called and they said i should receive an e-mail? i just sent in the application about an hour, and i still have not received one. does it come a little late by any chance?
thanks
i thought we got a site with the application status? Forum

Schools will send you links to status checkers after they receive and process your app.sangr wrote:Hey guys,

It could take some time before they email you. For the schools I've applied to so far, they've typically taken about a day or so (UChicago, which was the fastest still took a couple hours IIRC).
Relax.

oh, so I guess I mistakenly thought that "sent from lsac" is concurrent with received and processed then?rinkrat19 wrote:Schools will send you links to status checkers after they receive and process your app.sangr wrote:Hey guys,

No, sent from LSAC is not the same as "received and file created at the school." It does mean the LSAC has sent it, but the school literally creates a file for your application, and that is when you will receive the status checker.
Some schools don't have status checkers ie: Emory, BU, and GW (also maybe BC) don't have any type of online status checker
Its been a few months though, so someone correct me if I'm wrong about those schools.

No, "sent by LSAC" means bascially they sent the equivalent of an email to the school. The school still needs to log into the system and download/save/print (whatever they do) your application package and get it all set up in whatever filing system they use. LSAC is just the collation and delivery service. From this point on, your communication will be with the schools.sangr wrote:oh, so I guess I mistakenly thought that "sent from lsac" is concurrent with received and processed then?rinkrat19 wrote:Schools will send you links to status checkers after they receive and process your app.sangr wrote:Hey guys,
