BU new early decision?
I thought BU didn't have an ED program, but it looks like they're giving out full scholarships like GWU? Did I just miss this or is it new? If not new, anyone know the stats for those who were accepted? Thanks!

You're right. They didn't used to have an ED program but apparently they have one similar to GW's and it is new this cycle.

+1 will you need 170+ to get this or do you think that the standards might be lower due to it being the first year of the program
167 3.7 pretty much above the lsat median -.02 of the gpa median

I would imagine they're using this as a way to bring in highly qualified applicants, so I'm guessing above both medians = a good shot.confusedlaw wrote:+1 will you need 170+ to get this
I'm 168/3.44 so I'm guessing it's a no go for me. I'm going to look into it though because it sounds awesome.

The worst that can happen is that you get declined on the binding decision and get accepted regular decision.

Do they defer to regular decision if they don't want to give you the full ride?ThomasMN wrote:The worst that can happen is that you get declined on the binding decision and get accepted regular decision.

I would assume so because that is how GW does it (it would make no sense to outright reject someone they would accept RD just because that person applied ED), but of course this is all speculation since this is the first time BU has ever done this.minnbills wrote:Do they defer to regular decision if they don't want to give you the full ride?ThomasMN wrote:The worst that can happen is that you get declined on the binding decision and get accepted regular decision.
