Resume Question about Work Experience
I have nothing for work experience from college. The only work experience I have is from high school. Should I leave my work experience section on my resume blank or should I include my high school work experience?

Re: Resume Question about Work Experience
Unless you had something really extraordinary for a high school job, I would suggest that you leave it out.

I'd suggest leaving it out even if it was extraordinary. Nothing from high school should be on the resume.haus wrote:Unless you had something really extraordinary for a high school job, I would suggest that you leave it out.

Do you have extracurriculars and stuff from college on your resume? If so, then definitely leave out the hs work experience. But if not, i kind of think including the HS work experience is better than having a super sparse resume. maybe?

+1, unless you did something great - cured a disease or started a now-giant charity or played for a national U18 team or something else really cool then no HS on the resume...Hawkeye Pierce wrote: Nothing from high school should be on the resume.
(that being said, I leave on my IB diploma from HS, maybe i should take my own advice...)
oh and just list your activities/groups instead, don't put a blank work section obviously...
