Law School Interviews
Does anyone have a list of what T30 schools interview their applicants? I know that you can choose to schedule an interview through Vandy, but if anyone has any other information that would be helpful! Thanks!

You can schedule an interview with an alum from Vandy and Northwestern does interviews, I believe. I think that's it. They don't really do interviews.

INterviews of law school applicants are very rare. I don't think any T30 school wastes the time doing such interviews (and yes, it is a waste)

Re: Law School Interviews
USC did a bizarre "video interview" this past year for waitlisted applicants only. I believe it was their first year doing this.

Harvard interviews some candidates over the phone. Northwestern does interviews. Thats 2 in the top 14 at the very least. So in short, your wrong.kaiser wrote:INterviews of law school applicants are very rare. I don't think any T30 school wastes the time doing such interviews (and yes, it is a waste)

When I said T30, I meant schools ranked around 30. Sorry for the confusion. I know that Northwestern does interviews, as does Vanderbilt. Chicago does some interviews, as does Harvard. But no schools for someone looking toward the T30 range will require (or encourage) them.admisionquestion wrote:Harvard interviews some candidates over the phone. Northwestern does interviews. Georgetown does group interviews (for those who they consider reasonably strong candidates). Cornell interviews those closer to the cusp.admisionquestion wrote:Harvard interviews some candidates over the phone. Northwestern does interviews. Thats 2 in the top 14 at the very least.
