School Rank?
Does it matter to Adcomms (sp) the reputation of one's UG in admissions? For example, the LSAC report shows my state university UG's LSAT average to be a puny 147. My 163 (88th percentile) is more like 96th percentile here according to LSAC (only 5 of 89 higher or in the 161+ category) and no one has my 4.0 (only 5 of 89 in the 3.8-3.99 category). Just out of curiosity, because I don't expect it to matter much (if at all) - will this matter much?

I think they look at it to determine grade inflation. So in your case it might help some, but it's not a huge deal, they still care most about raw numbers.

Your LSAT will be judged against other applicants not your school's LSAT-takers.

You'll get a fat scholarship if nothing else.

Yeah it matters but not nearly as much as other factors. If you have certain schools in mind, you can find info on their web page that discusses what they look at in an application and they will usually rank each factor.Klinklang wrote:Does it matter to Adcomms (sp) the reputation of one's UG in admissions?
From what I've seen, the reputation factor is below the residency/same system ugrad factor in terms of importance.
