Re: Can part-time/summer work experience matter?

If you're talking about how some schools prefer applicants with work experience, then no. They prefer applicants with full-time, year round work experience after finishing undergrad. But if you're up against another applicant with the same GPA/LSAT who happens to have no work experience or softs, then yes, your soft factors will give you a slight edge. But, of course, I don't work in admissions, so I can't say this definitively.
