multiple LSAT addendum

would it be weird for me to write in my addendum that I took the LSAT more than 3 times in an effort to get more merit aid since i am disadvantaged economically? i need to explain why i took it 5 times but that is my only reason.

My personal opinion is that you should contact the law school you want to go to and ask their dean what to do. If she/he doesnt say, then I would consider it. I mean taking 5 LSATS is pretty weird.
