Re: Michigan vs UVA for Biglaw
How do you even know you'll have this choice?
ED to UVA is close to a guarantee with certain numbers, but usually means no scholarship money. RD to UVA is a crapshoot unless you are a VA resident or have #s for a much better school. On the other hand, Michigan's ED program is not a sure thing for most but its RD chances are probably significantly higher for those also considering UVA. Michigan is more generous with scholarship $ if you are not above both medians.

yeah, I guess I don't realize all these choose my law school threads in the summer are totally hypothetical. People should get accepted to schools first.

I'm just saying it's an atypical choice to have, so it doesn't make much sense as a hypothetical.Zach0901 wrote:I did not say Id have the choice but Im curious that dependent on where my October LSAT ends up which school would be more worth the money considering my aspirations. Dude, you don't even need a 175+ to get into either of these schools.Zach0901 wrote:LOL at having a 172 and re-taking in october and hoping for a 175+bdubs wrote:I'm just saying it's an atypical choice to have, so it doesn't make much sense as a hypothetical.Zach0901 wrote:I did not say Id have the choice but Im curious that dependent on where my October LSAT ends up which school would be more worth the money considering my aspirations. I was correct. Enjoy Ohio State.
