St. Johns, Hofstra, Cuny?
Someone I know has just been accepted off the waitlist to St. Johns (tuition 46000). He is currently waiting to hear back from CUNY LAW (10,000 tuition) as he just applied there a week ago. He is on the waitlist for Hofstra (now currently ranked higher than St. Johns). His GPA is superb, but he isn't coming from a top undergraduate school by any means. His LSAT was not the best at all. He has only taken it once. If he gets into CUNY or Hofstra where should he go out of the three? He is also contemplating working for a year and studying/retaking the LSAT in the hopes he gets a better score and maybe some scholarship money. (current lsat 150-156 range and GPA near 4) What should he do?

Retake the LSAT, a low 160's, maybe even a high 150's will get $ at those schools, especially since he's instate at CUNY
