Splitter joy--3.6, 171. ED to Penn?
My plan is to blanket the T14 from CCN down, but I love Penn. Wondering if ED makes sense with these numbers. As an added bonus, I feel that I can pull the GPA up to roughly a 3.7 after the fall semester (which is my last). Advice, friends?

If you truly want to go to penn, and dont mind paying sticker, I would ED.

Those numbers should get you into Penn without much trouble if you ED. You also have a shot regular decision but that's a bit dicey. Main problem with ED is that you are almost surely sacrificing any merit aid. If you can actually get your GPA up to a 3.7 (not sure if that's really possible) then you should just apply RD.

Truth. Blanket the t14 from CCN down, ED to Penn anyway if you REALLY want to go there.protein wrote:3.6/171 isn't a splitter

I wouldn't ED because you could be looking at 50k or so from Duke or Michigan.

You'd be giving up money from lower-ranked T14s, but if you really want it, do it and I'd say you're in.
