Letter of Rec?
Ok so a teacher I have interned for and have developed a good working relationship with has agreed to write me a letter of recommendation. But she turned the tables on me and told me to write the first draft and then she would edit it and add to it. Where do I start? I have never read one before... Is it ethical for for me to do it?

Technically you aren't supposed to write your own letters. I'm sure people do write their own letters, but if you're found out it can definitely hurt you. I'd mention this to her and just provide a resume and maybe some bullet points on things you want her to address.fixxion wrote:Ok so a teacher I have interned for and have developed a good working relationship with has agreed to write me a letter of recommendation.
