Postponing 2nd Deposit Deadline Forum

Is it possible to postpone a 2nd deposit deadline at all? Anyone ever/heard of anyone pulling this off for whatever reason?

How did you go about it, if you don't mind me asking? (PM if willing/don't want it up here)

I called (not emailed) the person in charge of admissions. Don't ask the student who answers the phone, talk to the person in charge. I explained my situation and reasons for wanting to postpone the deposit date.

"I'm not sure I want to attend" is not a valid reason. "I need two weeks to come up with some cash, xyz happened" is probably a valid one.

Money would be an issue, but not one I'd use here. Any other takers to this q?
