question regarding class sizes at YS and UChicago

If having a law school is so lucrative for an university, why aren't Yale, Stanford, and UChicago increasing the sizes of their entering classes?

Some schools actually don't need the money and are run for higher education purposes.

I think that the top law schools claim that they spend well more than tuition in the costs for each student. I don't know if that's true, and I can't seem to get google to tell me tonight what the exact chart looks like.

Top schools aren't cash cows. They are more or less autonomous. It's the TTT's that are cash cows.
