Hi all,
My situation: 167, 3.9x. Applied this past cycle (pretty late as in late December), but not satisfied with results. Right now I am signed up for the June lsat, but some personal circumstances have prevented me from devoting enough time to studying. I am considering pushing the test back to October, but I am not sure if retaking will end up being my best option. My other option would be to ED at one of MVP (which you can probably guess by my name) as soon as the apps are available. I will probably end up EDing there even after my October lsat if that is what I decide to do. So i guess I have two questions. Is there a substantial difference between submitting an ED app the first day they come out versus right after the October lsat? Also, how much would a lower score on additional lsat hinder my chances?
Thanks.

1. .000000000001% 2. Not at the schools that would accept you with a 167 , so no.

Applying with a higher score>>>>>>>>>>>applying the very first day. Obviously the June LSAT is ideal, but it's better to wait until October if you're not prepared. The difference in applying at the beginning vs. the end of October is minimal. Your LSAT score will be a much larger deciding factor. I would recommend sending in your applications on or around the first day so that the schools have time to process the paperwork and you can go complete as soon as the Oct. scores are released.
To my knowledge (someone correct me if I'm wrong) MVP don't average LSAT scores, so there won't be negative consequences to scoring lower.

ED apps on the first day apps open up (at least at Mich) will not give any significant advantage. You would gain much more utillity by retaking the LSAT in October than applying super early.
