Is it too late to ask for a deferral?

Post by rli66 » Thu May 05, 2011 10:32 am

Due to family circumstances, I have learned that I may be unable to enroll at a T10 this fall. I have paid all my deposits and withdrawn everywhere else.

Would it be impossible to get a deferral? I also should mention that I have a full scholarship.

Thanks

Depends on the school really, best bet is to call and talk to them. When I got a deferral the scholarship money wasn't. They said that I'd just be compared to next years acceptances and given an offer based off that. But again, call the school, maybe they have a different policy.

Probably Virginia.

OP: Just call the school, tell them of your situation & ask.

I just shot them an email. Damnit I hope they don't make me reapply.
