Another noobcake question
I keep asking because you guys are really helpful.
I just calculated my LSAC GPA with a calculator and came out to 3.74. I thought I was closer to 3.8 but whatever, up yours Shakespeare and the professor that taught it.
Is this okay for a T14 school? Or should I get it out of my head? Or does it all depend on what my LSAT is and I'm wasting everybody's goddamn time with my stupid questions?

No, 3.7 is H's unofficial floor.NorCalBruin wrote:It's going to make it difficult for you to go to Harvard, Yale, Stanford, or Berkeley... but otherwise no. Rock yo' lsat and you'll be fine.

Re: Another noobcake question
3.74 is quite low for Yale and Stanford, low for Harvard, and possibly low at Berkeley. In itself, it doesn't matter anywhere else.
But based on you 'tar, you don't need law school; you need to spend more time with your wife.

Well I've been here a couple of days and didn't really find a definitive answer. Perhaps there is something wrong with my browsing techniques?Mce252 wrote:OldTymeyFaceSmasher wrote:I keep asking because you guys are really helpful.

Yea, its pretty low. You honestly should have worked harder in UG and probably aren't too smart, because thats what your Ugpa is good at measuring.

So? You need a 177 to have a shot with a 3.7. Those don't grow on trees. Also, it's 3.6.Veyron wrote:No, 3.7 is H's unofficial floor.NorCalBruin wrote:It's going to make it difficult for you to go to Harvard, Yale, Stanford, or Berkeley... but otherwise no. Rock yo' lsat and you'll be fine.

People have gotten into T14s with a 2.4 gpa. LSAT is what matters.
